Goal Setting for 2019

Reflecting back to look forward

Over Christmas, we’ve taken the time to reflect on the past few months. This time last year, we were in a little office at The Circle! Fast forward twelve months, and we’re now nicely settled into our workspace at The Flour Mill. In the last year, we’ve had three different offices and three different logo designs. Our team has doubled, and our client base has multiplied by six. The mix and size of our client base has evolved, too. From designers to distillers, we’ve loved working with a range of different businesses over the past year. It’s been an awesome journey so far, thank you for being a part of it!

Over to You

Thinking back to where you were this time last year can be a great exercise to look forward. And what better time to think about your future goals and objectives than the New Year? So, we have a little exercise for you. Particularly for those of you that have quarterly reviews with us. To help us plan for your best year yet, we’d like you to set some targets for success.

What are your 2019 goals?

It can be easy to get caught up in the here and now and forget about your long-term goals. So, let’s go back to basics. What is it that makes you get up in the morning? The reason why you do what you do? And what are your long-term aspirations? Remember, no goal is too big. So sit down, have a coffee and, and don’t be afraid to dream big!

Now that you’ve thought about your big goals, here’s your next task. To help structure your next quarterly review with us, we’d like you to think about these three questions:

  1. Are you on track for your goals?

  2. What are the 3 biggest challenges in your business currently?

  3. Are there any other questions or things you’d like to ask during your review? Write them down and let us know!

Dare to Dream

We believe you should be in control of your business, not the other way around. That’s why we’re here to help you design your business around your lifestyle and your ambitions. Your dream might be to cut down your hours, to sell your business and to completely redesign your lifestyle. Or it might be something smaller like taking more family holidays. So, whatever your aspirations are, big or small, dare to dream! Have a think about them, let us know and we can work towards them together.
