We knew accounting could be better.
As business owners ourselves, we’d experienced the frustrations that too many people had learned to accept from accounting. Reactive advice. Jargon-heavy reports. Conversations that only seemed to happen when something needed filed. But the problem wasn’t simply that the service could be better. The whole experience could be better.
Business owners should have accountants who understand what they’re trying to build and help them think through the decisions that shape it. And accountants should have the opportunity to do meaningful work, build real relationships, and see the difference their work makes. That belief became Ashton McGill.
