About Ashton McGill
●
Accounting is changing. Come and be part of where it goes next.
We’re on a mission to change accounting to make it a better experience for everyone, creating a world where people and businesses thrive.
That means rethinking not only the experience our clients have with accountants, but what a career in accounting can look like too.
If you’re in your final year at university and considering the profession, we want to give you the chance to experience that first-hand.
Not through a case study or a week of shadowing. By joining our team and contributing to real projects while you finish your degree.
Start with something real.
These are project-based roles, so you’ll work on things that genuinely need to happen inside Ashton McGill. The work won’t be highly technical accounting. We’re far more interested in giving you exposure to the business, our team, and the way modern accounting actually works. That might include:
• Migrating client data to new working papers
Helping us improve the systems and technology our clients rely on.
• Developing our client data
Supporting the data and insights that help us understand and serve our clients better.
• Improving how we work
Getting involved in internal projects as Ashton McGill continues to grow and evolve.

About you
●
We care more about your mindset than your experience.
You don’t need an impressive accounting CV. You don’t even need to be studying accounting. We’re looking for final-year students who are:
• Curious about a career in accounting.
• Comfortable with technology & data.
• Interested in businesses & how they work.
• Keen to learn & get involved.
• Organised and able to take ownership.
• Most importantly, we’re looking for people who want to make their work matter.
Interested in joining us?
Send us a brief CV alongside a short cover letter telling us why you want the opportunity and what interests you about a career in accounting.
